In the presented paper, we aim to determine Georgia's compliance with the economic sub-criterion of the "Copenhagen criteria", such as a functioning market economy, comparative analysis of the relevant economic indicators of Georgia and the candidate countries for EU membership (as of 2020) and determination of the main directions for ensuring these criteria.
