This article presents the results of an analysis of the elemental composition of a calcium fluoride-based product obtained by processing phosphogypsum with ammonium fluoride using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The main objective of the study was to assess the amounts of calcium, fluorine, and other detected elements in the obtained product and to interpret the analytical results from a chemical-stoichiometric perspective.
According to the ICP analysis data, the calcium concentration in the examined sample was 7750.00 mg/dm³, while the fluorine concentration was 7347.55 mg/dm³. The presented calculations indicated that the mass fractions of calcium and fluorine were 46.6830% and 44.2588%, respectively. These results indicate the presence of significant amounts of calcium and fluorine in the sample. The research findings provide an analytical basis for characterizing the elemental composition of the product obtained by processing phosphogypsum with ammonium fluoride and for its subsequent technological evaluation.
