In the context of rapidly advancing socioeconomic progress in the professional environment, the role and contribution of highly educated specialists and spiritually mature, comprehensively developed youth to the development of scientific, socioeconomic, and cultural spheres is particularly increasing.
This article examines career guidance issues and related problems in the republic's education system. In the context of improving Uzbekistan's career guidance system, the key principles for choosing a specialty are analyzed, and shortcomings and development prospects for this area are identified.
