This article examines the work of the renowned saxophonist Vladimir Teregulov, recipient of the “Dustlik” (“Friendship”) Order, and the significance of his teaching and performance work, as a leader of jazz ensembles, and as conductor of the Big Band of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan.
