ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATIONS IN THE INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 90S OF THE XX CENTURY

This article highlights the process of economic transformation that took place in the industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the second half of the 1990s. The author analyzes the main factors that influenced the industrial development of the region in the period of transition to a market economy after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
