The monograph is dedicated to the increasing of exploitation durability of high-alloyed cast irons and ledebutitic steels by means of surface modification and coating deposition. The key technology used is a pulse-plasma generation by high-current discharge which enables the injection of plasma jet with the product of the cathode erosion. The monograph displays the “Microstructure-Properties” correlations regarding the regimes of the treatment and eroded cathode’s chemical composition.  The book can be useful for the researchers dealing with the Surface Engineering and Tribological Materials Science.
