The book examines innovative smart home infrastructure components related to energy supply, backup energy storage, water supply and treatment, water recovery and recirculation, clean air supply, air regeneration and oxygen enrichment. It also addresses the integrated monitoring and active real-time control of these components and the interactions among them.
For all the infrastructure components and interconnections presented in the book, detailed descriptions of the relevant technical and software solutions are provided. These solutions meet optimized world-class standards of technological and design innovation and enable the practical integration of artificial intelligence and artificial neural networks into the design and operation of smart homes.
As demonstrated by previous experience, water preparation, treatment, recovery and reuse within smart home systems are among the key factors determining whether a smart home can be successfully constructed and operated.
As noted above, the book consists of several self-contained parts, each presenting an original development that advances a particular area of modern science, engineering and technology capable of contributing to the creation of a smart home.
Since integrated innovation logistics constitutes one of the principal areas of the author’s creative and professional activity, the author also presents considerations concerning the logistics of generating innovative solutions within the conditions and initial requirements that have emerged, and continue to evolve, in smart home environments. These considerations are based on the characteristics and classifications of currently available technical solutions commonly referred to as SMART HOUSE, SMART HOME INFRASTRUCTURE and SMART BUILDINGS.
