In modern times, structural changes in the tourism sector, deepening environmental problems, socio-economic inequalities, and the impact of global crises necessitate a reconsideration of traditional approaches to tourism development. Although economic efficiency and the protection of existing resources have long been considered primary priorities in tourism activity planning, current development conditions require shifting this approach to a broader conceptual framework. In this regard, alongside the development of the sustainable tourism concept, the regenerative tourism approach is also gaining relevance in scientific and practical planes.
