Hot and dry cities face a growing heat risk. Satellite heat maps need checks on the ground. We carried out a field experiment in Tashkent in 2025. Measurements followed WMO, ISO, VDI and ASTM rules. Eleven districts and one background point were observed. Points were chosen by Local Climate Zones. Air and surface temperatures were measured in every season. All districts were warmer than the background point. The mean air heat island was 4.3–4.7 °C. Summer asphalt was 8.2 °C warmer than the background. Its highest temperature reached 74.4 °C. The data can support satellite validation and city planning.
