The article examines methodological approaches to the development of innovative technical solutions for smart homes, smart industrial facilities, and their infrastructure components, with particular attention to systems supporting airfield ground handling technologies. It emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive systems approach that integrates technical, technological, economic, environmental, and commercial considerations throughout the innovation process. The study also highlights the role of patent and licensing strategies and the assessment of the commercial potential of engineering solutions.
The article presents the concept of an autonomous modular energy-generating unit designed as a backup power source for smart building infrastructure. The proposed solution is based on a multistage energy conversion process, innovative fuel compositions, electromagnetic torque amplification, and planar low-speed electric generators to improve energy efficiency and operational reliability. The integration of advanced infrastructure technologies with intelligent control systems provides a foundation for commercially viable, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable engineering solutions for next-generation smart infrastructure.
