Today, the demand for clean and high-quality products is growing significantly. Sorbents play a very important role in the purification of these products. Special attention is paid to the selectivity and desorption properties of activated clay powders that purify edible oils, in particular vegetable oils. The selective action and reuse of sorbents were considered highly effective both from an ecological and economic point of view. For the analysis of the selectivity and desorption properties of sorbents, the chromatographic method was used. Also, the areas of application of the products obtained as a result of the desorption process of adsorbents are determined.
In the desorption process, the binding force is high due to the increase in the kinetic energy of molecules bound to the surface (heat transfer). It was established that the selectivity property depends on the chemical composition and structural structure of the activated clay powders.
